VF Rose Costieres de Nimes 2003

VF Rose Costieres de Nimes 2003 What's not to like about a very good, bargain-priced dry French Rose with a screw cap?

Vineyard Brands imports this Rose produced by the Perrin brothers (of Beaucastel), which is made from grapes grown in the Costieres de Nimes region. The blend is 75% Grenache, 15% Cinsault and 10% Syrah.

Bright cherry red translucent in the glass, the aroma provides lots of bright cherry as well as some citrus fruit. It is a dry wine with a clean finish, but there is plenty of tart juicy fruit flavor.

At $6 (Nashville), this Rose is highly recommended for enjoying now.
