Voga Delle Venezie Pinot Grigio 2004
Voga Pinot Grigio seems to be a fast growing label in the world of Italian Pinot Grigio, and the Brand has captured a lot of attention with the signature bottle, which has been described as a giant "shampoo" or "perfume" bottle.
| The wine itself is an IGT level wine, sourced from cool northern Italy, potentially from Trentino-Alto Adige, Veneto, and/or Friuli-Venezia Giulia.
87.5 points. Color: Light straw, with a slight greenish tint. Aromas: Lemony citrus, honeydew, light cold blossoms and wet slate mineral. The mouthfeel is light and quite tart. Lemony, minerally (almost salty) flavors lead to a crisp palate cleansing finish. Closure: Artificial composite cork. Retail: $10. Value: Very nice. Confession: I didn't expect much, due to the "gimmick" bottle, but it's really pretty good. |

This is the first I've heard of this wine, I saw an ad in NJ's Entree magazine. When I saw the ad I immediately thought it was for VOSS artisan water from Norway. Is this packaging & labeling a coincedence (I don't know)? Here in Manhattan VOSS has become very popular over the last year, I wander if voga is trying to catch the trend coat-tails.

I saw this interesting bottle in a store in Charleston, SC and just thought what a great conversation piece. Price was good, thought I'd try it. Turned out to be a very nice tasting wine. I plan on getting several bottles for birthday and housewarming gifts.

I found this wine in Myrtle Beach, SC and really liked it, the packaging is great too. When I got home to Kentucky I couldn't find it.

We recently had Voga at a restaurant in Indian Rocks Beach, FL. We found it to be a great tasting wine. I liked the bottle so much, I asked the waitress if I could take it home. Now I can't find Voga anywhere.

Tryed it for the first time last night. Was attracted to the bottle because it reminded me of the voss water. It went down very smooth with no after taste. Loved it and want to know where I can buy a case of Voga. I would like to give to friends and family as gifts.

Being a graphic designer I immeadiately shot for this bottle on looks and I was amazed at the taste for the price. It's nice to see wine packaging taking a turn for high design. I don't think it's a gimmick as much as it is a statement by the company.

This wine really has attracted a lot of attention with its package design. However, there is a small problem which needs to be addressed. That black plastic "overcap" fits loosely and is only taped at one point to the bottle. At Frugal MacDoogal Wine Warehouse in Nashville, the wine was discontinued despite strong sales, because bottles were being broken everyday when customers picked up the bottle by the plastic.

I FOUND THE WINE IN COSTCO'S IN WILINGTON DE. I TO THOUGHT THE BOTTLE WAS A GIMMICK, BUT I WANTED TO START DRINKING PINOT GRIGIO BECAUSE I HAD JUST STARTED A DIET AND WEIGHT WATCHERS SUGGESTED A DRY WHITE WINE BECAUSE IT'S LOW IN CALORIES. I TRIED IT AND FELL IN LOVE WITH IT AND I HAVE TURN ON MY FRIENDS ON TO IT. THE PRICE IS LOVELY AS WELL.

This wasn't verg good at all. I really don't have anything nice to say about it, other than the bottle's design. I'll take my 10 bucks and find another wine.
I usuallylike Pinot Grigio but this one didn't do it for me.

Voga Pinot Grigio is really an enjoyable experience and I would recommend it to friends and family, however, it is not readily available in our home town, Washington, Tyne & Wear. Can you recommend a supplier please.

I live in louisville and am looking every where for voga pinot grigio. I am having a hard time finding it. I came across it at a liquor store, however it is very far away from my home. She had a wine tasting class and I absolutely love this wine!! I have got several of my girl friends hooked.

Just found the 2005 (screw-on cap!) at the liquor store bolted to the side of a Costco in Nashville. Sounds like Costco is the common denominator, at least in areas with Costco.
