Anapamu Central Coast Pinot Noir 2004

A rare commodity these days is a $15 Pinot Noir that could be priced higher.

Anapamu Cellars is one of the premium wine labels under the E & J Gallo umbrella.

Tasting Notes.  Color: Deep ruby transparent. Aromas: Black cherry, strawberry, pie spice, vanilla and a whiff of smoke. Medium-bodied and dry on the tongue, there are mild gravelly tannins providing some structure. Cherry, plummy, berry, pie spice and cocoa flavors lead to a warm smooth finish.

Closure: Real cork (4 bottles tasted - 1 had cork taint).

Excellent value ($15).
