"Toast and oodles of jam" - This affordable "no-brainer" casual red from Cline* sings for a song. Cooler weather and shorter days signal the switch back to red wine season, and Zinfandel is high on my list between now and Thanksgiving.

The fruit for Cline Cellars Zinfandel 2005 was largely from Lodi and Oakley (in Contra Costa County). "Slow-baked" French oak staves with a medium toast level were used for aging.
Tasting Notes: Color: Deep dark candy apple red, translucent. Aromas: Bourbon and toasty oak overlay blackberry, raspberry, apricot and black cherry fruit. Warm and mildly peppery/spicy on the tongue, the ample tart fruit, mocha and oak flavors create a buzz in the dry finish.
Outstanding value ($9). Closure: Real cork. Alcohol content: 14.0%.
Food pairing: Steak au Poivre, Crispy apple & spice pizza.

Please advise where in London to make a purchase?
Kind regards
