Jerry, $13 seems a bit high for the Ercavio. I've bought it for $8 in the past and have never seen it higher than $10. I haven't had the '05 yet but I really liked the '04. As a consideration, I have found that this wine always shows best with about an hour in the decanter. Tasty stuff!!

Nice post title. The entire post is great actually -- keep these coming.

I'm familiar with the Capcanes Mas Collet and the Capion Cardinal Collection "Le Juge" which is a Syrah. No mistaking that savoury bomb for Bordeaux, that is for sure.

Jerry,

I've tried Ercavio and House Wine... I love both of them!!

P.S. - I'm no longer posting on Zinfully Delicious. My new blog is brunosdream.com

I was in my regualr wine store this past Friday and they are now selling the '04 Ercavio for $5 each - a real bargain.
